Sneaky Ninja Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 24, 2026
Sneaky Ninja: Scroll Heist (the “Game”) is made by JustTock, an independent developer (the “Developer”). This policy explains what information the Game handles and what leaves your phone. If there is any difference between translations, the Korean version prevails.
1. At a glance
- The Game has no account sign-up of its own. It never asks for your email or phone number.
- The online leaderboard uses Google Play Games. When you post a record, the name you type, your score and the round you reached are stored by Google Play Games and may be visible to other players.
- Ads are served by Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource). Device information, the advertising ID, approximate location and similar data may be sent to Unity and ad networks for advertising.
- Online multiplayer uses Epic Online Services. Only when you play online, an anonymous per-device sign-in, the nickname and room title you type, and match data are exchanged.
- The Developer runs no game servers. When the Game hits an error, error and diagnostic information is sent to the Developer through Sentry so the problem can be fixed. It contains no information that identifies you.
2. Information kept only on your phone
The following is stored only in the app’s folder on your phone and is never sent anywhere. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
| Information | Used for |
|---|---|
| Play records (replays) | Watching previous runs |
| Device leaderboard (name you typed, score, round reached) | Leaderboard when the online one is unavailable |
| The last name you typed | Pre-filling the name field next time |
| Settings (music, sound effects, language, controls) | Remembering your settings |
| Update check state | Remembering a version you chose “Later” for, and the minimum version |
| Multiplayer nickname | Keeping your nickname for the next online session |
| Anonymous multiplayer sign-in (stored by the Epic Online Services SDK) | Reconnecting to multiplayer from the same device |
3. Information that may leave your phone
Online leaderboard (Google Play Games Services)
The Game provides an online leaderboard through Google Play Games Services.
- When the Game starts, it automatically tries to sign in to Google Play Games, and Google shares your Play Games profile (nickname, player ID, etc.) with the Game.
- When you tap “Submit” at the end of a game, your score, together with the name you typed and the round you reached, is posted to the Google Play Games leaderboard. Leaderboard records may be visible to other players, so do not use your real name or other personal information as your name.
- Whether your entry appears on the leaderboard depends on your Play Games profile visibility settings.
See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles this information. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and game data in the Google Play Games settings.
Online multiplayer (Epic Online Services)
Online multiplayer uses Epic Online Services from Epic Games, Inc. (USA). The information below is exchanged only when you use the multiplayer menu.
- Anonymous per-device sign-in: the first time you play online, an anonymous account is created for this device (not an Epic account and no email), and the user ID Epic issues is used to create and join rooms.
- The nickname and room title you type, and room details such as the room code, player count and whether it is locked. Nicknames and room titles are visible to other players in the room list and lobby, so do not use your real name or other personal information.
- Controls and match progress during a match. These go straight to the other players’ devices in the room or through Epic’s relay servers. When devices connect directly, players in the same room can see each other’s IP addresses.
Room passwords are not posted to Epic’s room information; only the host’s device checks them. Room standings (wins and losses) exist only on the players’ devices while the room is open and are not saved. There is no chat or voice. See the Epic Games Privacy Policy for details.
Ads (Unity LevelPlay)
The Game shows ads through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), an ad mediation service from Unity Technologies. To load and show ads, the LevelPlay SDK may send the following to Unity and to the ad networks LevelPlay connects to:
- Device information (model, OS version, language, etc.), the advertising ID and the app set ID
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Ad interactions in the app, such as views and clicks
- Error and diagnostic information from the ad SDK
This information is used to deliver ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, and personalized ads may be shown based on the advertising ID and app usage. The Developer does not receive or store this information.
The Game is not offered in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK or Switzerland.
If you do not want personalized ads, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your phone’s Settings → Privacy (or Google) → Ads. For details, see the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Error and crash reports (Sentry)
When the Game hits an error or crashes, it sends the diagnostic information below to the error tracking service Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA) so the problem can be found and fixed.
- The error message, where in the code it happened, and the game's run log
- Device model, OS version, device specs (screen, memory, etc.) and app version
- A record of in-app actions just before the error (such as screen changes)
Information that identifies you, such as your name, email or advertising ID, and the name you enter for the leaderboard are not sent, and storing IP addresses is turned off. The information is stored on Sentry's servers (USA) and deleted automatically after 30 days. See the Sentry Privacy Policy for details.
Update check
When the Game starts, it checks whether a new version is available.
- It asks the Google Play Store on your phone whether a new version exists.
- It downloads a small file from the Developer’s website (GitHub Pages) that lists the minimum required version. As with any web request, your IP address and similar data may be logged by GitHub’s servers.
No information is sent to the Developer for the update check.
4. Children
The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
